Animal Profile: Phoenix is a 3.5 month old femail Terrier mix puppy who will be joining us along with her mom, Sahara and 3 siblings from San Joaquin California. These dogs have been held in outdoor kennels at a Waste Treatment Facility in San Joaquin Valley. Temperatures are now over 100 degrees and these dogs sit and wait for help to arrive. This “shelter” has no website, no adoptions, and no resources. We were asked to help so they will be joining us on June 16th. We will share more info as we get to know them in foster care. Foster Update: Phoenix is a smart, alert, confident puppy. She loves her humans and already has a god recall, coming when called. She plays well with other dogs, is learning to swim, and has had good introductions to cats. She is good in her crate and sleeps through the night. She is very cuddly and lovable. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization.
