Hi! My name is Addie, but you can call me “Precious” or “Darling” or “Sweetest Girl Ever.” The folks at Forever Loved just love me and so does my foster mom. I came in to Forever Loved from the county shelter where their awesome volunteers spent double-time finding me a great rescue to transfer to, because I am so worth adopting. I am 7 years old, 41 lbs, and I am a Black Lab mix. I haven’t had an easy life so far, giving birth to multiple litters of pups, not having good nutritious foods, and not being treated for things like ticks, but no doubt the best is yet to come! I am house trained, I am good with other dogs AND cats, and I just love meeting every human, no matter who they are. Right now I’m a little thin and saggy, but that is already changing as I’m getting the love and care that all of us doggie’s deserve. I am on medication for a tick born illness, but that too, will pass and I will be good as new, probably better than ever! I was a little hesitant riding in a car because I’m not used to it but with you there to guide me and show me how much fun going places can be, I will master my balance. I do pull on a leash when going for a walk, but I’m super treat motivated and eager to learn that, too. I love laying on a comfy bed and will even share it with my roommates in my foster home.
