Meet Adam, a 1 and a half-year-old Pit Bull who is looking for his forever home! Adam was originally found as a stray, so not much was known about him at the time he was dropped up. But we'll be the first to tell you that he is an energetic dog who is super playful, and LOVES his toy time. He does play hard and is always up for a challenge, especially when it comes to working and training. Adam does well with obedience having since graduated the "Puppies for Parole" program put on by the Missouri Department of Corrections- but he is still in need of a strong, experienced owner to handle his intense energy! While Adam is a lot of fun, he can become mouthy while playing, which means he may not be the best fit for a family with children. However, if you're an active individual or family who loves to exercise and are looking for a loyal companion who will keep you on your toes, Adam may be the perfect dog for you. Adam is definitely a social pup, but can be a little shy with strangers at first. When it comes to other dogs, he does go out in a play group and does well, but he tends to be dominant and would not do well with another dominant dog. Overall, Adam is a loving and playful dog who would make a great addition to an active, adult-only household with an experienced owner.
