Adopt Ana Banana the goofy goober a Gray/Blue/Silver/Salt & Pepper American Pit

Location:
Portland, OR
Description:

This beautiful, sweet 4 year old pittie mix is ready for her Happily Ever After! Anastasia is a true rescue. She & her TEN puppies were grabbed out of a kill shelter 2 hours before being euthanized. All her puppies have been adopted to the PNW but we NEVER leave momma behind. So now it's her turn! Meet Ana, the independent and playful canine with a heart full of love for everyone she encounters except squirrels!. Ana is a delightful dog with medium energy. Her charming personality is sure to win over the hearts of both humans and fellow canines alike.Ana takes strolls in the park and neighborhood. She greats people with a smile and passes dogs with a wagging tail. Speaking of taking walks… this girl is good on a leash and learning how to tandem walks with her dog bestie. She is very smart too and treats help her excel in training! Anna knows the commands, sit, stay and leave it! Ana's favorite pastime is engaging in playful romps with her four-legged friends. She adores the company of dogs, regardless of their size, and is always ready for an energetic game of chase or a friendly wrestle. Her gentle and mellow energy make her an ideal companion for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Ana is very good at adjusting her energy with the dog she is playing with. She can rough play with other the big dogs or lay down and be gentle with a puppy. Ana can be tolerant and friendly towards cats but has never lived with a cat! Ana would probably be best to not live with a cat. Ana's adventurous spirit extends beyond land, as she has a particular fondness for water. Splashing around and cooling off in lakes, pools, or even a simple garden hose brings her joy. While Ana is undeniably a dog who loves the company of her fellow canines, her affection for people is equally boundless. She possesses a heartwarming love for all individuals, and her friendly nature makes her an instant favorite among those she meets. Whether it's a wagging tail, a joyful bark, or a gentle nuzzle, Ana's devotion and enthusiasm for people are always on display. Ana’s favorite way is to cuddle on the couch and scoot her snout behind your back! Ana's intelligence and eagerness to please have made her an exceptionally well-trained dog. She is potty trained and comfortable in her crate, providing both convenience and peace of mind in the home . She even takes full advantage of a dog door, showcasing her smarts! Anastasia is such a beautiful, sweet soul. Any family would be a lucky to take her on trips or just to run errands in the car! Ana loads up easily and enjoys going places. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.)• A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week)• One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan• 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan• Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
