Well hello there! My name is Angela, thanks for checking out my profile! I am five years old and only weigh 40 pounds! I`ve found my way to IACS through no fault of my own. I was brought in as a stray, but before that a nice human held on to me for a little while and found out I was really good with older kids in that home! I do have lots of energy and would love for someone to take me on long walks, runs or play fetch with me! I`ve been described as sweet, and I`d have to absolutely agree with that assesment! All I really want is for someone to love, and a forever home to call my own. Could that be with you? It`s hard to meet new people and pets quickly after leaving the shelter. I might need some time in my new home to decompress and process my new surroundings before meeting the whole gang. That`s ok though because IACS offers a 14 day cuddle before you commit program to ensure I am the best fit for you and your home. We`ll have pleanty of time to get to know everyone! *Please apply on our website at indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet. *Click on the adoption application link, enter your information, and click submit. You can include multiple pets that you are interested in on one application. *Once you have submitted your adoption application, please visit the shelter to speak with one of our Adoption Counselors, who will assist you with meeting some of our animals. *We offer a Cuddle before you Commit program where you can foster an animal for 2 weeks, slowly introduce it to the rest of your animals and family, and then finalize your decision.
