Affectionately called Ari by her fosters, 15-week-old Arabia is 25 pounds of puppy sweetness and sociability. Always active, always happy, she LOVES frisking about with her various canine companions, running, wrestling and playing tug-o-war with them, and never seeming to tire. Although she adores everyone, she’s not really a cuddler, yet she likes being in the same room as her people: if they’re on the couch, she’s on a dog bed nearby, and at night, she sleeps on a dog bed next to their bed. She loves chewing bones, treats and toys, thrives on mental enrichment in the form of snuffle mats, treat balls and puzzles, knows to “sit” to accept them all gently and is honing her “come” and “no” commands. Motivated by food, toys and love, but mainly by life itself, she’s learning to play bite and jump up less, has not yet been walked on a leash due to her age, and is crate trained and almost fully house trained. With much still to learn and so much to share, Ari should thrive in a loving family (perhaps with other dogs or a dog-savvy cat) that will patiently perfect her manners, complete her training, including her commands, and ensure she’s kept happily active fur-ever . Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application received in the order they're submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails) . If your home sounds like a good match for you and the pet, we will connect you with our dogs' foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a "meet and greet" is set up. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to finalize the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $ 395 (includes a $50 refundable puppy training deposit) . Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all DAPP boosters after adoption.
