Archer lost his home in a housing crisis. He started here years ago. He`s better for the good times he`s had. It`s made him a perfect choice for being an easy to acclimate new companion to you. Archer lived with two adults. He didn`t live with other pets but his owner noted he greets unfamiliar dogs nicely and even played with other dogs regularly. Cats were too much tempation, he has been known to chase. This good boy allows dutifully cleaning, baths and even nail trims and being picked up is A-OK. Archer loves long walks, hikes, squeeky toys, fetch and chase and especially loves cuddles with his people. He`s lean and his mobility is on point, he does stairs and ramps with no problem. We`ve discovered he likes wading in a pool too. He`s very housetrained for long periods of time and would tap his nose on his owner when it was time to go out. He stayed loose in the house when his people were away. He has nice manners and was taught to sit when visitors come into his home. He`s a little shy at first but warms right up in minutes. This very good boy has never tried to leave his past home, why would he? He had it made.Archer knows sit, stay,down, back (for return), and roll over.He`s used to eating Purina products.What a testament to the benefit of a mature dog with manners that has years ahead to be your companion. If you have a resident dog you can schedule a meet and greet while onsite.
