Last month, very late at night in a sorry section of Stockton, I saw a forlorn Shephard scratching madly in a desolate parking lot. My heart sank. Knowing it wasn't safe for me to stop, I called Stockton PD and they sent two marvelous officers to help. Using canned cat food as bait, we managed to catch Arthur. It was immediately clear that he was a sweet guy in need of help & kindness. Now, Arthur needs a home. The officers took Arthur to Stockton Animal Services. The next day when I went to check on him, the shelter staffs were singing his praises. "He's a really nice guy!" "This is one gorgeous gentle giant who’s super sweet! He’s mannerly, easy-breezy, that perfect medium energy, and will stand right next to you for pets and affection! We suspect he would be OK with mannerly children. He participates in shelter playgroups with gentle and dainty dogs. He’s fabulous!" PLEASE reach out if you have room in your heart and home to give Arthur a secure future; a forever home.
