Atlas is a 10 year old American Staffordshire mixed breed. He is a very sweet dog to new people once he gets your smell and maybe a couple treats. He absolutely loves car rides and will bounce and run with excitement the moment you mention one. He also loves lounging around. He loves sleeping under covers, but has a hard time nudging his way under one so may ask for your help by pawing at you. Atlas is definitely a lazy dog, that will occasionally have his moments of zoomies. When you come home to him he is the happiest and may even have to show you his toy or bone out of his excitement. He is also very vigilant and always on alert. He knows sit, stay, lay down, kennel, and roll over. Atlas does not do well with other animals or young children so a home where he is the only pet and no children will suit him best. I wish to keep him forever but he is not acclimating well to our newborn son, and spends most of his day in his kennel, which breaks my heart. Please consider this old man.
