Axel! DOB: 3/2021 Weight: 70lbs This handsome man was surrendered to us when his owner never came back to get him after moving elsewhere. He’s best buddies with another dog at the shelter, Roxie. They’d love to go to a home together but it’s not required. Axel is a tall, strong pit mix, weighs in at roughly 70lbs. He’s got a very sweet personality and loves his people. Axel knows how to sit, takes handouts nicely, walks fairly well on the leash, and doesn't know a stranger. He loves to go for car rides and stick his nose out the window. He’s a super sweet boy, did well for his shots. Possibly house trained, if not would probably be quick to catch on. Does well with cats but can be picky with dog friends so a proper meet with another dog is needed His adoption fee is $175. That covers worming, vaccines, spay/neuter, heart worm test, and microchip.
