Axel is a 2yr old Shepherd mix who can't wait to find his forever home! He weighs about 70 lbs, but is amazingly agile and runs like the wind.His favorite things are toys, food, and snuggling. This guy LOVES his people and wants to be with you wherever you are!He gets along really well with other dogs and loves to run around the yard and wrestle with his foster brothers. Axel loves to be around kids, but he is a big guy and may accidentally knock little ones over when he’s playing.Axel uses the dog door at his foster house and has done well with house-training. He is very interested in seeing the rest of the world, so he will need a high fence to keep him from trying to explore on his own. He is not a fan of the kennel, but does great at doggie day-care. He would thrive in an active environment where he wasn't alone for long periods of time. Axel would love to go to training classes with you...he is very smart, eager to learn, and VERY treat motivated! He may need a little patience while getting used to a new home, but if you give Axel time, you will become his whole world and he won't leave your side! Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200.
