Bandit is a 4.5-year-old mixed breed looking for his new home. Bandit currently has a suspected cruciate tear in his left hind leg, which we have been managing with anti-inflammatory medication for the time being, but we recommend weight loss as well as this boy currently weighs over 100lbs! Bandit needs someone who understands that he needs space and time to bond with them. He is shut down here in the shelter and is wary of people but will warm up quickly if you don't pressure him. Short, calm walks and tasty low-calorie treats will win him over. Bandit knows "sit," "stay," "heel," and "down," but may be a bit rusty, and would benefit from a quiet or mature home. Bandit would probably do best being the only dog in the home but may do well with another low-energy dog. Come in and meet this big guy, he may find a way into your heart. Looking for a weight loss buddy or are you a good weight loss coach, he is here!
