Bandit is a handsome one-year old male Australian Cattle Dog/Red Heeler mix who was surrendered by his owner to the Washington County Ohio Dog Warden on June 19, 2023. Bandit has a white short smooth coat with subtle red ticking, a long tail, and a beautiful Red Heeler face with a large patch of red on the left side of his face and a patch of red around his right eye, a black button nose on his slender muzzle, and large erect ears. This young man was full of youthful energy when HSOV Kennel Manager Kate Bruno accompanied him for outdoor photos on the afternoon of June 20th. Bandit was intrigued by other dogs that he watched being walked in the distance by volunteers during an after-hours dog walk event. Bandit weighs 45.2 lbs. He is surprisingly very strong (and rambunctious) on the other end of a leash. Bandit would love to find a new family with an active lifestyle who could indulge him with long walks and playtime. Bandit will be neutered before being adopted by his new family (a requirement for HSOV adoptions to be finalized). UPDATE: Bandit was neutered on June 21, 2022 and was also given rabies vaccine.
