After a long road of recovery from some pretty rough injuries, I am a special boy ready for a special adopter! Being in the only shelter on a small island, I am a very special case and feel so lucky that Kauai Humane Society was able to care for me to the point where I can walk without a cast on one of my front legs nor have need for daily bandage changes. Wahoo!I am looking for a home that is comfortable committing to some follow up medical visits, as there is a possibility that I could have a chance at a ligament surgery to restore full use of my front leg. I could also thrive without complete use of my front leg, and can get around just fine, but regular visits to the Vet to ensure I am maintaining a healthy balance and recovery as a rehabilitated dog would be important too.I have the most SOULFUL brown eyes and absolutely love, love, love being around and in the company of people. I love to bury my head in your lap for ear scratches and am ready to be someone's bestest friend in the whole world. As for other animals even before my accident I preferred to be a solo act, unless I'm with someone that has as much boundless energy as I have.
