Bashir is a sensitive boy who was found as a stray and is now looking for his forever home! He may be a bit nervous at first, but once he warms up to you, he`ll show you just how loving and playful he can be.One of Bashir`s favorite pastimes is playing in the water- whether it`s splashing around in the lake behind the shelter or chasing after a hose, he absolutely adores cooling off in some good old H2O. Another interesting trait is his fondness for nibbling on grass like a tiny bovine- getting your daily greens is important! Here’s what one volunteer said about him:“I met Bashir for the first time today. I leashed him easily and he pulled at first, but relaxed as we progressed. We walked down to the lake, where he waded in up to his belly. He relaxed immediately and enjoyed exploring the shoreline. He let me pet his side as he munched on grass.”Bashir would love to find a patient and experienced owner who can work on his leash manners. A proper dog introduction is also necessary to ensure a smooth transition and help Bashir feel more comfortable. When it comes to receiving affection, Bashir appreciates a slow and gentle approach. Once he trusts you, he`ll gladly accept pets and cuddles. Building a bond with him will require patience and understanding, but the reward will be a loyal and devoted companion.If you can provide Bashir with the love, structure, and guidance he needs, he will surely blossom into an amazing companion.
