Bear is a great buddy. He is 10 years old and has been with me since he was about 90 days old. Part of my friends litter. He is a Labrador and Australian Shepard mix. He is a pleasure to have and attaches himself to anybody visiting and allowed inside the home. He is full of energy and does have a strong pull on the leash, he does not do that often, but dogs are animals. He is a great walker and obeys the leash and commands. He is a very friendly dog and exploring, investigating is all part of the game. Playing Fetch is his weakness and you can keep him engaged till he is huffing and puffing. I do not recommend that as labs feet are their Achilles heel. I do provide him supplements for his joints besides his monthly course of topical and digestive treatment for heartworm and the ticks and creepie crawlies. He is up to date on his shots. I have to relocate to Asia and moving around for at least the next 3 years. This is going to be challenging for me and for Bear as well.
