Animal Profile: Bella is an estimated 3 year old 38 lb female mixed breed -- possibly dutch shepherd or lab mix? She was picked up as a stray and not reclaimed by her owners, then pulled from Caddo Parish shelter. She was kenneled with another dog at the shelter, and is reported to be sweet, social, and dog friendly. She has been good in canine playgroups with males and females. We will share more info once we get to know her in foster care. Foster Update: Bella is described by her foster mom as a total love bug who can match your energy level. She is equally happy being chill and hanging out or running around playing tug and chase with the resident dog or fetch with her foster. Once she is tuckered out, she loves to snuggle up for a good snooze.Bella is highly food motivated and working on learning the ropes in her foster home. She is making progress in her crate, working on some basic commands eager to learn more, With the exception of a high prey drive that will distract her from time to time she is amazing on leash.If you are looking for a happy pup that will be excited going on adventures or chilling out at home by your side, she could be the right girl for you! No cats for this cutie pie but she’d be a’okay as an only dog or with other dogs. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate.
