Hi everyone! My name is Bernie. I am a year old and weigh 51 pounds. I`m here at IACS through no fault of my own. I`ve been described as happy and wiggly! I also love treats and will do my absolute best to take them nicely from you. I`m not a fan of having to go back into my kennel, but can you really blame me? I hope my forever person is just around the corner, because I`d love to have a home of my very own. It is unknown how I behave around other dogs, cats or kids so a slow and proper introduction is the best way to set everyone up for success. The shelter does offer a 14 day cuddle before you commit program to ensure I am the best fit for you and your home. **Please apply on our website at indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet. Go to the website, click on the adoption application link, enter the information and hit submit. Once you have submitted your application please visit the shelter to speak with a member of our adoption staff. You can include multiple animals you are interested in on one application.
