“This girl is a dream!” Volunteers have gushed over Bettie. Bettie is a loose leash walker, treat motivated, smart, and so SWEET. Her love language is physical touch and she responds to affection more than treats. (But she will, of course, take your treats if you`re handing them out.) Bettie is a happy dog who makes human friends easily, especially if they bring on all the snuggles and cuddles. During the summer months, the furminator is her best-friend.Bettie’s adorable face looks like she took a dip in black paint and her eyes are mesmerizing. She loves to chase squirrels and can easily jump five feet in the air or climb a tree when one is involved. Bettie is great with other dogs. She does good greets with a nice, waggy tail and engages in soft play. She could potentially live with another calm dog. We’re not sure why this girl hasn’t been scooped up by her forever family yet, so come by and meet her.
