Birdie was out exploring the town with a pal when they were both scooped up and brought to the shelter. She’s an affectionate, friendly girl, but sadly, no one came looking for her. Here’s what her volunteer friends have said:“Birdie is a very friendly dog. Easy to leash, calm in kennel, and loves to be petted. She enjoys attention and treats and knows ‘sit’. She loves to sniff and explore on her walks and also enjoys chasing lizards.”“I often take Birdie and her kennelmate to a yard in the evenings, and this lady is a lovebug! She is easy to leash and walks calmly form her kennel to a yard. She spends most of the time sitting near me getting pets and affection, and giving kisses in her return. I love her!”Birdie gets along well with her kennelmate, but needs to meet any other resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Birdie today!!
