Bitsy is a Feist, approximately 11 1/2 years of age, looking for a forever home. She is a shy gal that prefers a calm, quiet environment where she can just be herself and curl up on the couch. Bitsy came to ARNO in 2012 with a pack of feral dogs from Tennessee, and volunteers patiently socialized them. She now walks well on a leash and is friendly with people and dogs. She was adopted but through no fault of her own came back to Arno when her owner became ill. Bitsy requires a patient home where she can learn the ropes and experience new things. She is currently in a foster home. The adoption fee is $200 and includes spay, up to date on shots, and a chip.________________________________________________If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment with an approved application. One of ARNO's volunteer adoption counselors will be in contact with you to notify you of your approval status as well as arrange an appointment.Adoption Fees:Dogs:Puppies under 6 months – $300Adult dogs (6 months – 7 years) – $250Seniors (8 years and older) – $200Cats:Adults (1 year and older) – 1 for $85 / 2 for $125Kittens (under 1 year) – 1 for $125 / 2 for $150For all animals that have not been spayed or neutered a $100 deposit will be required in addition to the adoption fee.
