Bonita is a beautiful Pekingese girl who is ready for her forever home. She was found as a stray and when she came to us, she needed one of her eyes removed due to a very bad injury. We recommend an adult only home for her as she has a typical Pekingese temperament and can be a bit grumpy at times. We believe that as Bonita learns that people can be trusted, she will become a much happier, better adjusted dog. For now, she needs an adopter who is patient, understanding, firm and has an understanding of the Pekingese temperament and breed. Bonita is estimated to be 4 years old and she has been completely vetted. Like many of our rescued dogs we are not sure how well house broken Bonita is. But with some consistency and praise, house training should be learned quickly. Bonita's Adoption fee is $325 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue!
