Adopt Bonnie a White - with Brown or Chocolate Labrador Retriever / Hound

My family and I rescued Bonnie when we lived in Nebraska going back to approximately 2013. At that time, the vet estimated that she was 4 years old. She is now 11 years old and starting to slow down. The reason I am looking to rehome Bonnie is due to my household unit is now separated into 2 states. My wife's employer moved her to California, and I remain here in Texas. My occupation requires me to travel routinely and respond to emergency operations upon between contacted; or working extended hours. It isn't fair to Bonnie to remain inside the house for extended periods of time, so I need to find her a good home able to care for her. She is sweet and gentle and loves to be hugged and rubbed on. She is great with kids but isn't too crazy about small hyper dogs. Bonnie has food allergies, so we don't feed her anything with rice or starches.
