Meet Bowie! Bowie is a 2 year old, 46lb Terrier/American Staffordshire mix. Bowie is one of the happiest dogs we have at FHS! He is also the most non-reactive dog we have. Maybe that's because he's in the best mood at every moment. He's our happy go lucky boy with a heart of gold! Bowie is great around everyone! Dogs, cats, people...he just loves life and everything in it. He's confident, super friendly and loves to play! Best Qualities: When asked by the staff what his best qualities are they said his obedience and his bug eyes, but the absolute best thing is his loving nature! His perfect day: Bowie's perfect day would be to go on a walk in the morning; he walks excellent on a leash. He has a medium activity level so he'd want to play more a little later at home or at a dog park and maybe show off his high jump, so lots of fetch too! Bowie loves the water so if it's a hot day maybe walk circles in the kiddie pool. As a very affectionate boy, he'd want to calm down after his playtime with lots of love and pets and maybe a treat or two. Then nestle right up to his family and sleep like a baby. Fun Fact: Bowie can jump extremely high. Bowie would thrive in a home with a family that can provide him with daily walks or an environment where he can play in a yard with other dogs or with kids (perhaps older kids, he can be a little jumpy when he gets excited still). He is up to date on his vaccines, neutered, microchipped and waiting to find his forever home!
