6/18/2023Boy I is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Hi! My name is Boy! I’m a handsome 6-month-old white boy that is an owner surrender after being found as a stray and my current guardian is unable to locate my owners or keep me. My current owner says I don’t seem to get along with little dogs so I may be dog selective with my friends. I also appear to be deaf, but don’t let that stop you from getting to know me! I am described as protective and affectionate. I have not had exposure to kids, dogs, or cats so it is unsure if I am friendly to them, so a proper meet and introduction is needed. I am not house trained and crate trained so I will need help learning those manners. I am leash trained. At night I sleep in a dog run/kennel but would love to be able to sleep indoors! When I must be left alone I do get lonely and prefer company. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. Some of my favorite things are to be pet, going for walks, attention, and food. I do have toys but do not play with them so it’s unsure if I have ever had toys. I do not like sharing my food and will guard it when other dogs are present and do not like it when other dogs get all the attention, so I may do best in an only dog home. I would love more than anything to have my forever home that is patient and willing to teach me everything I need to know!
