Brewster was at the local animal shelter and was such a good guest that CPR rescue had to save his life! He is a very sweet and mild-mannered little guy and just wants to please his human. He loves all dogs and will run and play with them. He loves to stretch his short legs so a big area to run and play would be ideal. Brewster has a bobbed tail and we don't know if he was born that way or if his previous adopter had it done. That's why we chose Corgi as a possible breed as well. His little nub wiggles all the time! We can see the retriever in his little face but not sure if it is Golden Retriever or Labrador Retriever., A DNA test would be great to just see what he is made of. With his gentleness, it seems appropriate that Golden Retriever would be a good guess. He is learning his house manners and will be housetrained in no time at all! He has never used the potty in his doggie condo he stays in when his foster mommy is away. He is already crate-trained! Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event! The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog tested negative for heartworms. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
