Brutus is a handsome young boy who spent a couple of months in a home before heading to PACC. He was housebroken and used a doggy door in that home and reportedly did well when meeting new people. Here’s what his volunteer friends have said about him:“I love Brutus! He’s such a lovable mush. Once he’s outside he’s a pretty loose-leash walker, though he does zig zag a bit. We sat in the grass under a tree and he backed right in for some butt scratches and then sat on my lap. He likes to be as close as possible and I even ended up resting my arm on his back while I entered notes for him on my phone. He’d be a great cuddle buddy. Brutus has the best smile and he’s such a big, lovable teddy bear. He’s definitely one of my favorites!”“Brutus is such a nice guy! He greeted me with a big smile and a wagging tail, and he knew the kennel routine well. He`s very easy to leash up and to exit from the kennel. He didn`t pull during our walk and checked in with me often. He loves getting butt rubs and takes treats softly. I had a great time hanging out with him.”During a brief foster stay Brutus was described as a cuddly couch potato who loves people and craves attention and affection. When meeting other dogs in playgroup Brutus was social and tolerant. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. He may also do best in a home without young kiddos. Ask to meet Brutus today!!
