Meet Bubba. He turned 1 year old in May. He is a purebred chocolate lab. He weighs 70 lbs . We rescued his whole family; his sister , 2 brothers, his mother, and Grandpa & Grandpa from a puppy mill. All the labs are very gentle and loving dogs. They crave for the love and companionship they have never had. His parents are AKC registered. He has been going to daycare and training and the staff report that he does well with all the dogs there. Adopter should continue with his training. He needs a secure fenced in back yard, no invisible fences. We also require a home where a primary adult is home during the day. He spent his life in a kennel, he needs companionship. Bubba was around lots of kids at the mill, however our policy for large dogs is that children in the home should be 10 years of age or older. He has been neutered; is heartworm negative, up to date on all vaccinations and microchipped. Bubba had Entropion Eye surgery , this is a common and minor surgery to correct an inward turning eyelid. He is healed from his surgery. ##1758341##
