Buffy the Babe is a beautiful Lab mix girl who had a DNA done that comes out to this:52% Lab, 10% Pug, 9% Bulldog, 9% Boston Terrier, 20% Super Mutt! This sweet girl has unfortunately grown up many months in a small town shelter that is not on the beaten path for people to come view dogs for adoptions. Not fair but Buffy has passed that smaller puppy stage, and will not be the wild and crazy 3 month old puppy to adopt. But instead, we have an 11 month old, 43 lb demure girl that has been in the shelter for 217 days and counting. NOT FAIR!!!!! NOT AT ALL!!!! Someone make this girl have a reason to truly smile each and every day. Here is what we know that is so special about Buffy the Babe! We want her to thrive and be the best companion and here is how we start. Give her things to fetch since her favorite thing in the world is to FETCH ANYTHING YOU THROW! Take her on hikes and car rides that she can enjoy and participate in with you, her owner. Buffy has grown up in a shelter and she has done what every dog that is needy for attention does; she jumps up on you when you come to greet her. She needs some reconditioning on this and so we suggest no small children in the home right now. Teach her the manners she has missed out on. They will come easily in training because she is smart and eager to learn now that she is older and starving for the ability to be taught. She does need work and we admit that. Who doesn’t need work on themselves in this world? With her warm personality and willing nature, Buffy is a very smart pup who wants to learn. Just in two days she learned sit, stay and is working very hard on recall. She needs a home with no small animals as she will chase them. She loves water, is kennel trained but has only been an outside dog her whole life. What a tragedy for Buffy. PLEASE HELP BUFFY GET OUT OF THE SHELTER!
