Adopted May 2021 from Humane Society of Northeast Iowa. 6-8 years old.Buster would like a home that has space to run around and explore and lots of things to smell.Very smart, sometimes too smart.Loves to play tug.Very food motivated. Loves treats.Very protective of his area and people.Loves to try and chase and bark at rabbits, squirrels, cats and anything that comes into his yard.Has not spent a lot of time with other dogs especially off leash.Does not like sudden movements or loud sounds (gun shots, fireworks, thunder).Loves long walks in new areas.Loves getting petted.Likes to do agility but still needs a lot of practice. Doesn't really understand fetch though.Loves car rides.Doesn't trust strange people especially at home.Full heeler instinct and likes to nip and herd.Can get the zoomies when excited and will on occasion run into us.Mostly an outside dog but gets to come in the house once in a while and is well behaved in the house.
