Butch is a sweet 10-year old male Beagle who was surrendered by his owner to the Washington County Ohio Dog Warden on June 22, 2023 along with his son Buddy because their family was moving and couldn't taken Butch and Buddy along. Butch has a tricolor short smooth coat, a long tail, and a classic Beagle brown/white Beagle face with a keen nose and large floppy ears. Butch had HSOV Kennel Tech Aubrey Hall wrapped around his cute paws when she accompanied him for outdoor photos on June 23, 2023. Aubrey gave Butch extra TLC (and lots of ear rubs) and let him 'do his own thing' so that he could choose natural poses for his Petfinder/Facebook/Adoptapet debut. Butch decided to follow his nose through the green grass for 99.9% of his pictures .. Like a true Beagle! Butch weighs 33 lbs and walked fairly well on a leash even though it was probably a new experience for him. Butch will be neutered before being adopted by his new family (a requirement for HSOV adoptions to be finalized). UPDATE: Butch was neutered on June 28, 2023 and was also given rabies vaccine.
