Charles is a very handsome boy with golden bronze coloring and captivating brown eyes. He seems to be smiling in some of the pictures and that's probably because he is! He's a happy boy! He is a one year old 57 pound terrier pit mix that came to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 8/5 as a stray. He is not neutered. When I first went into his kennel he was so joyful his whole body was wiggling! He sometimes got carried away and jumped on me but got down with the "off" command. He's very personable and wants to please. He sits for treats and takes them gently. He explored the yard with his nose but when he got done, hung out with me. He came when I called him. He walks fairly well on a leash. And he wiggled and wagged his tail when meeting other dogs. He's gentle, sweet, friendly, and laid-back. He would make a loving addition to your family. I can picture him sprawled out at your feet while you're watching television or reading a good book.
