OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Charles is a stunning example of his breed. He’s a bit shy at first toward people he doesn’t know, but warms up when allowed to approach you on his terms. We highly recommend older, dog-savvy children; if he were pushed too much, he does have the potential to bite and he does not like fast movements or loud noises. He can be a little grabby with treats. He does pull somewhat when walking on the leash; especially if his nose takes over. Although he most likely would chase a cat if he had the chance, he is friendly toward the other dogs here at the shelter. Weighs 80 pounds; $25 to adopt.
