Hello My name is Checkers and I`m Available through Grand Prairie Animal Services! I`m a 2y old American stafford mix and love hanging out with my favorite person. The most important fact about me is I am very loving but am unsure about other dogs. The staff here at the shelter say I am very calm and sweet. I have med energy and will need just a few walks a day. In the shelter I might seem shy in my kennel but get excited once we spend time together. My medical history says I`m healthy and shelter staff hasn`t seen any medical concerns. During my play groups and assessment the shelter team found that I`d do best in a family without any dogs. The crew thinks I have SO much potential when adopted. I`d love to meet a loyal homebody my new best friend and live my best life. Come by the shelter and see if we`re the perfect match!
