Cheddar Cauliflower (aka Cheddar) is an easygoing, affectionate lady who loves nothing more than hearing she is a "good girl." You should see how fast her tail wags when she hears those two words! She takes a calm approach to life and has shown no reactivity within the home (to loud noises, other pets, etc.) or outside the home (to street noise, other dogs, etc.). Cheddar has easily made friends with her foster family's resident dog and the two sleep next to each other and share toys. She has also proved herself an ideal dog for navigating the tight NYC streets—she does not feel the need to meet every dog and person but is polite and sociable when interactions occur. After some moderate morning exercise, she is content to sleep the day away and has successfully been left home alone uncrated during working hours. Her ideal day, however, would be one spent cuddled up by your side, receiving constant belly rubs and behind-the-ear scratches.
