This beautiful little girl, Cherie is a gentle 8 month old pup who is sadly, terrified of shelter life. Cherie was adopted from us in March as a baby, but unfortunately her owners are moving and are unable to keep her. Check out her baby picture with the others of this sweet girl. Her former family reports that she loves all kinds of toys including frisbees and balls. Cherie is used to sleeping in her kennel at night, but we're sure she'd be happy to share your bed if you're into snuggles at night too. She does have a bit of a headstart and knows 'sit,' 'come,' and 'speak.' She reportedly loves to play with kids and is friendly with dogs. She has a laid back nature and loves to kick back and relax with her people. Her first family reports that she has never been aggressive toward people or other pets. One of our volunteers has noted that this poor girl shakes so bad at the back of her kennel that she needs some encouragement to leave but don't let this deter you. As soon as you get her out, she opens up in the worlds sweetest pup! Outside she loves to wag her tail and explore! She may start off a bit strong but has no problem working on her leash manner to fall into an easy pace with you! As she warms you'll notice she enjoys affection, some nice head pets go a long way with her! Like many dogs she can be a bit afraid of loud noises like fireworks. She would love someone who has patience and a willingness to show her what being a family pet means! She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and ready to meet her forever family today!
