Chikita is a lovely little lady who is waiting very patiently for a forever home. She’s been lucky to spend a few days a week at the offsite location of PACC’s rescue partner, Tucson Rescue Now. She gets to lounge on couches and schmooze with people away from all the noise of the shelter. Here’s what the TRN folks had to say about her:“Chikita has had a bumpy past and would really love to find a stable forever home. She is a very lowkey gal who really enjoys her walks and being outside. She has the cutest little prance as she walks around the mall! She’d like us to request that her foster or adopter really needs to provide a big fluffy bed because she LOVES the one in her kennel with us. She is very polite and gentle with treats. She also seems a bit overwhelmed by shelter life, so having a quiet place to decompress would be wonderful for her.”Chikita shares her kennel with a calm furry friend and mostly kept to herself when meeting other dogs in playgroup.
