Cinder loves to cuddle, play, and join you for a swim. She is potty trained and crate trained. She has lots of energy so a yard and a friend who will actively play with her would be ideal. She is good with small dogs but having at least 1 similar sized one who she can rough house with would be ideal. She really wants friends to engage with. We are working on manners training and improving slowly. She has a big heart and is just sooo excited to see you when you come home she can't contain herself (she has been showing slow improvements) loves the toddler too - refrains from jumping on him but covers him with kisses. 'Cinder is one of the sweetest most cuddly dogs I think I've ever had' says her foster. Walks great on a leash and actually likes going into her crate. She's about 55 pounds. The foster had one of the puppies DNA tested to get an idea of their mix, mom was German shepherd and they also have Great Pyrenees, Dalmatian, Pitbull terrier, Husky as well as small percentages of lab and staffordshire. She is good with cats and dogs of all sizes. The beautiful tree babies! They are going to be extra large lap dogs. While they are gorgeous dogs they need a family ready to work with them, they need exercise, attention, stimulation to keep their busy minds at rest. No doubt, they will be a joy to have around but if you're looking for a couch potato we might recommend one of our other lovely dogs. But if you want a loyal, working, athletic dog you wont find a better mix. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption.
