Adopt Cinnamon a Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut - with White Siberian Husky / Mixed

This beautiful girl is Cinnamon. She's a 1 year old Husky with all the energy and personality you would expect from her. Cinnamon has lived with us and our pack of dogs in foster for a bit and during that time we've gotten to know her really well. Here are a few things we've learned about her: She's incredibly friendly and loves everything - other dogs, your mother in law, even the guy trying to steal your TV. She is very confident and you can absolutely trust her with anyone in any situation including large groups of people and even small children. She's funny. If you are interested in adopting her you should have a sense of humor. She will make you laugh: like when she chases her own tail or talks back to you or picks up a giant stick when you're walking her. You should also be a patient person because she's vocal and will sass you when you tell her to do something. She's got all the husky vocalizations and uses them - she howls and sirens, screams and woo-woo-woos. She is noisy and stubborn and thinks everything is a game. Training a husky is different from training most dogs. But again, if you have a sense of humor you'll just laugh at her because the antics are comical. But she can be naughty and get into trouble. She will grab a jar of peanut butter off the counter or try to eat a bee. She definitely makes it clear how happy she is to see you when you get home and may jump up on you and howl with excitement. She loves other dogs and will chase and wrestle with them for hours, literally hours. Except giant breed dogs like Great Danes or Newfies - she doesn't understand them and will stand about 20 feet away and woo-woo at them. It's actually pretty funny. We want to place her in a home with other dogs because she loves to play so much. But her new home should be without cats because she will drive them nuts trying to play with them. She sleeps on her bed on the floor all night but then jumps up on our bed in the morning for cuddles and play. She loves riding in the car and is terrific - she just settles into the back seat and relaxes. She is a great running dog, just runs at the end of her leash and doesn't stop to sniff or pee. She's a husky through and through and knows that her job is to go forward and she's great about it. She likes to spend time outside and given the choice she will stay outside and explore the yard and chase squirrels.
