Cinnamon is a senior (11 years young), rough coat girl who came into rescue last fall because her mom died. She is up-to-date on her vaccinations and is heart worm negative. Because Cinnamon had been with her mom and her animal family for so long she missed her mom and family of dogs and cats. It took her a while to adjust to her new foster family, but since it included dogs and cats she made the adjustment. She had some allergy issues when she first came to us but those are controllable. Cinnamon is also on medication for a heart problem but that is also well controlled. She’s a wonderful collie with a sometimes wicked sense of humor when it comes to one of her cat siblings. Stanley the cat can be a bit too presumptuous and sometimes he aggravates Cinnamon to get a rise out of her. She loves to eat (don’t we all), so we have to watch her diet. She’d eat all day long if allowed. She’d do best in a quiet family with 1-2 other dogs for companions. Cinnamon is a sweet girl who’s there to meet you at the front door joyously announcing to all that you’ve finally come home even if you’ve only been gone for a couple of hours. Cinnamon is currently being fostered near New Orleans, LA.
