Meet Copper! Copper is a great addition to an active family looking for a furry companion. He is 4 years old and professionally trained. He is very well house trained and knows commands such as “kennel”, “sit”, “lay down”, “touch”, “get on your bed”, “no”, “come”, “wait” and “okay”(his command to break from waiting). We adopted Copper off of Craigslist (he was named Jake at the time) 2 years ago, at the age of 2; he’s 4 years old now and we’ve spent a lot of time loving on him and training him. He loves playing fetch—like seriously, he’s obsessed with it. He’s very affectionate, good with even the most “hands on” kids, and does well with other dogs—even in-tact males. We’re looking to re-home him because we’re financially faced with the decision of moving into an apartment and he just isn’t an apartment-friendly dog (plus, no apartments in our area accept dogs of his size).
