Cowboy is an 8 year old male rat terrier looking for a quiet home where he can relax and be the center of attention. He is such a sweet and happy guy who loves to greet you at the door and give all the love when you get home! Cowboy came to us after being pulled from a local shelter. He is good with other dogs but would do best in a home with other dogs that are more calm. He loves to bathe in the sun and sit in a lap. He enjoys the yard in his foster home and chasing squirrels. He can be grumpy with young children so we recommend a home without any young children. A more quiet home with adults would fit him the best. Cowboy has a heart murmur but has been evaluated by a vet and has a normal chest xray. He has no signs of congestive heart failure or other health issues and medical records will be shared with his adoptive family. He is also receiving a daily joint supplement as is routine for dogs of his age.
