This is a rare treat that we enjoy, as usually the situations we work with are cases of neglect or abuse. But on those rare occasions, we are happy to help when someone asks us to place puppies. We know that “accidents happen”, and the well-meaning pet owner had planned to spay or neuter, and we appreciate so much that they come to us instead of dumping the unwanted puppies on a back road, which happens too often. So is the case for Daisy and her siblings. Happily, they have only known love, but are in search of a home to call their own just the same. Daisy is an absolutely gorgeous Catahoula/Hound mix, and is about 5 months old. She is about 15 pounds and has the most beautiful markings on her coat. Foster mom says that Daisy is very sweet and friendly, but can be a bit nosy, and wants to be involved with everything you are doing. She makes up for it, though, with her comically long, floppy ears that she is constantly tripping on! She is very loving with children (although we still ALWAYS stress that children should never be left unsupervised with any dog) and loves to be cuddled. Like any puppy, Daisy gets along with everyone and is happy playing all day. All dogs, like humans, have certain traits, however, it is important to know that dogs and humans, regardless of the breed or ethnic group, are all social family oriented and their characteristics are only one of their many awesome qualities.
