Meet Dega, our adoptable shelter pup of the week! This sweet 2 year old shepherd/wolfhound mix is an absolute ball of energy and love! She’s still working on the “bringing the ball back” part of playing fetch, but loves a good belly rub and running around outside. Dega does not know her own size, and thinks she’s a lap dog no matter YOUR size, but gets along well with people and dogs alike. Our sweet girl Dega is patiently waiting for her furever family to come along! She'd make a great addition to an active family! If you are interested in adopting Dega, or would like any additional information on this sweet furbaby, please call Carroll County Animal Shelter at (770) 214-XXXX!! Shelter Hours: 12:30-4:30 Mon-Wed & Fri, 12:30-6 Thurs, 9-4 Sat, closed Sun (closed the last Friday of every month for training & deep cleaning). Dog meet-n-greets are always strongly encouraged before introducing a new pup to the family, and allow around 2-3 weeks on average for a new animal’s full personality to pop back out again in a new environment. The adoption fee covers the spay/neuter surgery, a 1-year rabies shot, a da2ppv shot (canine distemper/parvo vaccine), heartworm test, deworming and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. The hours of operation are: Monday through Friday 8:00 till 5:00; Saturday 8:00 till 4:00.
