Do we love Dewey? We sure do! Dewey is a sweet guy who has really come a long way at the kennel. He arrived as an awkward, skinny stray who seemed pretty overwhelmed and unsure about the big wide world. He's still a bit awkward, but has filled in nicely and has bravely learned and done a lot in the past few months! He's shown he is a sweetie who loves people and is quite content to be a sprawling lapdog. Dewey even took a trip to meet a cat, and he did well! He was excited and seemed ready to make friends with the cat, greeting it with play bows, but after one hiss he backed off and didn't really pay attention to him again. We always suggest gradual intros with a new dog to resident pets (especially cats), but it seems like Dewey has potential! Dewey also enjoys making friends with other dogs in play group. And of course, he is eager to befriend new people. He can be exuberant and bouncy in his excitement but so eager to please and responds well to direction. Dewey is ready to shine in a home of his own! He has a lot of love to give his future family. We guess that Dewey is around 3 years old and he weighs 47 lbs.
