My family adopted Dexter from a family who lived down our street. He came from a large litter of puppies born last January (2022). His parents are pure German shepherd (father) and his mother is German shepherd and Aussie mixed. He looks just like his mom. He was with our family for about 6 months before he reunited with his dad at another neighbors house next to ours and the reunion was so precious. Dexter is a sweet sweet young boy and loves to give me hugs. He is still young so he needs to be adopted by someone who can assert their dominance with nurturing. He is very obedient but is getting older and less concerned with listening when greeting passersby is more appealing. He does well with kids and cats. He listens to my sons corrections and he understands when my two cats correct him too.
