Donnie is a 1-year-old 45lb golden retriever. Donnie gets along with other dogs and even cats! He will do great as an only pet because he does need a lot of one on one time and training; he has the energy of a 2-year-old human kid trapped in a dog's body. But that's only because he loves to play, loves his walks, learns fast, and doesn't pull on a leash. He makes friends easily, loves his toys, and does play alone when no one else wants to play, He will do well in a home with someone who is willing to be patient and teach him obedience and cool tricks, as he is a sharp pup. Current food: Pro plan adult food Donnie is currently being fostered in Brooklyn, NY, and their adoption fee is $425 "To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, fully up to date on vaccinations, including rabies (if age appropriate) and Bordetella, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
