Dude is a fun-loving, young-at-heart pup who is looking for a best friend who will play with him, snuggle with him, and take him exploring. He has a heart of gold and is eager to please. He loves to play fetch and tug-of-war more than anything-- his favorite toy is a rubber Nerf stick that he could play with for hours if he could. When he's had enough play time, he'll roll over for belly scratches and cuddle up for some chill time with his human buddies; even though he loves to play, he's pretty low-maintenance and just needs his daily walk and playtime to be the happiest boy. Dude would love to be in a home with older kids (tweens or teens), active adults, and possibly another dog, though he can be picky about his friends. Dude seems to get overlooked at the shelter because he is a pretty "normal-looking" dog and occasionally barks while in his kennel, but if you meet him, you will fall in love with this goofy, affectionate boy!
