Hi! Glad to meet 'ya. Call me Edgar. And no, I wasn't named after the poet Edgar Allan Poe or the French impressionist artist Edgar Degas, famous for his paintings of dancers. No way with my four left paws tripping the light fantastic in a klutzy canine cha-cha. I'm a black, shorthaired bundle of muscle with coffee-colored eyes. When I drink, I wag my tail and noisily slurp water, sending drops airborne. Hey, it's just water. I'm 4 1/2 years young, obey basic commands and am eager to fine-tune obedience skills. I have a lot of pep to channel into becoming a star player on your team. I'm a Labrador retriever who will lavish you with luv. The fact I'm heartworm positive shouldn't be a downer since my pawsome docs are treating me for what I call one of life's speed bumps. When you visit, leave your dancing shoes at home but I wouldn't mind a spillproof water bowl. Gotta hydrate, hydrate..
