Adopt Eli a Brown/Chocolate - with White Labrador Retriever dog in Granbury

Eli is a six year old cow dog who really misses doing early morning and evening chores with his human. He was a working boy (and big baby) until 18-months ago when his owner had a severe stroke that rendered him unable to care for himself, much less Eli. Little by little Eli watched the farm get shut down and unfortunately had to fin for himself for a while. (He's not malnourished now ) Just recently I was able to rescue Eli and am currently fostering him. It's not an ideal situation for him long term but he and his brothers are staying cool in this extreme heat. Eli is a sweet boy and he has adapted quickly to his new and temporary environment. It's a long shot that Eli gets to return to 80 beautiful acres but I am confident that there is someone with space in their heart and on their land who would love to let Eli finish his life as a happy and well loved dog. He is healthy, he is up to date on his shots, he's groomed, and he's waiting patiently for his new owner to find him.
